RELAÇÕES DE TRABALHO EM TEMPOS DE PANDEMIA: UM ESTUDO SOBRE OS LIMITES DA ATUAÇÃO DO ESTADO NA FLEXIBILIZAÇÃO DOS DIREITOS TRABALHISTAS

Abstract

The coronavirus crisis impacted not only social relations, but also the economy and labor relations. In face of it, Health Emergency was decreed at the national and international level, and the State of Public Calamity in Brazil was also declared. In this way, seeking to reduce the impacts resulting from this crisis, the government developed a series of Provisional Measures whose objective was to make labor standards more flexible, the main objective of this study: investigating the limits of State intervention in labor relations in the light of dignity human. As a method adopted to carry out this research, there is the deductible; already as a research technique: documentary and bibliographic. It was from reading and analyzing the existing primary and secondary sources on the subject, that this article concluded that any State intervention in private relations must aim to preserve the minimum of the worker's dignity, that is, his fundamental rights. However, this process has become increasingly difficult, given that, since the labor reform, there has been a growing movement of disarticulation of these rights.
