Ethnic-Racial Education in Public University:
one comparative study between the Law Courses of the State Institutions of North East Region

Abstract: This article proposes a comparative study of the Law courses offered at the State University of Rio Grande do Norte and at the State University of Bahia, seeking to understand the academic curriculum of each work on racial-ethnic education. When analyzing the contents of academic subjects of the courses in question, it was observed that the theme was derived from a superficial form, or is almost not treated how to establish the National Curricular Guidelines for the Education of the Ethnic-Racial Relations and for the Teaching of History and African and Afro-Brazilian Culture. The Education for the Ethnic-Racial Relations can be a method for breaking up the pact of the male whiteness and to provide the pluricultural knowledge and the decolonization of academic subjects.
